A note from Bryan as Election Day approaches
Friends and neighbors,
Wow. Can you believe it has been over a year since I announced this campaign? Over 5000 doors knocked, hundreds of committed supporters, volunteers, house parties, and kitchen table conversations - and we still have a few weeks left to go. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support as we enter the home stretch.
I’ve been through our entire Ward twice now. I have heard loud and clear that people are looking for improved infrastructure. We need to not just fix but rethink and continue to improve our sidewalks, roads, and school buildings.
I have heard so many different ideas about the direction of our community, how we plan for a sustainable future, work together to build new buildings that will fit the neighborhood, make our village centers more vibrant, walkable and bikeable. Keep our roads safe. Manage traffic and parking, while improving public transportation. Helping families deal with the stigma of addiction and mental health. Growing older in our community. Living with disabilities in our community, and worrying about caring for loved ones with a disability.
So many conversations, and lots more to come. I have dedicated so much time to hearing from each of you, because a good Ward Councilor reflects the people who send them to City Hall.
I pledged when I announced this campaign not to take donations from developers or lobbyists doing business in City Hall. This is a people-powered campaign and I couldn’t do this without each and every one of you.
I ask for your vote on November 5th.
